Musical Cuckoo Clock Angry Mother In-Law Rolling Pin MT698/9

Clock is made of wood, with wooden dial, wooden hands, and wooden house. The cuckoo bird is also made of wood.

The cuckoo bird comes out to "cuckoo" the count of the hour, every hour, and "cuckoos" once every half hour. After that, music plays from a 22-note, Swiss-made, mechanical musical movement, playing Edelweiss and Happy Wanderer in rotation, on the hour and half hour (the melody combination may differ, in rare instances, depending on factory availability).

In this chalet scene, there are two moving beer drinkers, sitting at a table, drinking, while a woman (the angry Mother-In-Law!) shakes a rolling pin at them! Dancing figurines move and turn in the balcony as the music plays. A water mill wheel turns as the music plays. There also is a dog and a carved evergreen tree.

There is a silencing lever on the left side of the clock, to silence the clock at night. The weights have to be pulled up daily (or every 30 hours).
